The Atlanta Falcons have signed first-round pick LB Sean Weatherspoon to a five-year contract. Expected to be eased in as the Falcons nickel-LB in 2010, Weatherspoon could find himself starting at WLB later in the season if 34 year-old Mike Peterson’s play begins to slip.
