A smart pickup for the Rams, who can use some talent at WR after Donnie Avery’s season-ending injury. Clayton should be starting once he picks up the offense, and is back on the fantasy radar.

Cundiff beats out Graham for Ravens’ kicker job

The Baltimore Ravens have released K Shayne Graham, signaling that Billy Cundiff will be the team’s kicker. A terrible decision by the Ravens, as Graham has consistently been one of the better kickers in the league for several seasons, while Cundiff is a journeyman at best. Donte Stallworth out 8 weeks with broken foot

Baltimore Ravens WR Donte Stallworth will miss the next eight weeks after breaking his foot during Saturday’s preseason game. Mark Clayton will step up as the Ravens #3 WR while Stallworth is out. Let’s not forget Stallworth was extremely injury prone before his 2009 suspension, and it’s obvious that hasn’t changed.

Foxworth placed on IR

The Baltimore Ravens placed CB Dominique Foxworth on injured reserve with a torn ACL. Another torn ACL for a Ravens DB, after Lardarius Webb and Fabian Washington both went down with the same injury in ’09. The Ravens secondary depth is dangerously thin with FS Ed Reed expected to be sidelined until October.

Ravens Kindle diagnosed with fractured skull

Baltimore Ravens LB Sergio Kindle has been diagnosed with a fractured skull following his fall down two flights of stairs on Thursday night. Kindle is expected to miss most, if not all, of training camp, and could start the season on the PUP list. It’s possible Kindle will miss the entire 2010 season.
